Wellington Zoo
I put on my pith helmet, some sturdy hiking boots and some walk shorts and I headed off on my trusty steed, the number 10 Bus.
It wasn't the best day for an adventure at the zoo, the weather was far from tropical, so a lot of the animals were hiding in their cages under
the heat lamps, but I did get to see some fine specimens. The paramount being this crazy monkey that looks like its his personal mission to kill me. (I've put in a close up to give you the full effect).

(I've put in a close up to give you the full effect).I’m not sure what part actually scares me the most. Perhaps it is the intense look in its icy blue eyes, or it could be the flared nostrils (flared nostrils always scare me, no matter who is doing the flaring). But whatever it is, it gives me the heeby jeebies, and I think its fair to say that I won’t be going near his enclosure any time soon!

The only other photo that I took of interest was of the sun bear, who quite appropriately, was sunning himself. He turned towards me and gave me such an imperious look that I took a picture. And when I looked at the picture later, the only thing to do to it, was to deface it. I know its silly and childish but here is the result.
